    How to graph a slant asymptote?

    Lets say i have a rational function that I have to graph with slant asymptote which i found by long division. It is: x-3.

    How would i graph this on my graph of the function? Thanks for any help

    graph the line y = x-3 ... it is customary to make it a dashed line.
