    x^2-(6x-4)/x^2+8x+3 added to -7x^2-4-4x/-3-8x-x^2 = a/b

    Are you supposed to be simplifying something, or solving an equation? Are you supposed to find values for "a" and "b", or are you given values for them?

    What have you tried so far? How far have you gotten?
