# Summation Notation (Sigma) Help

Summation Notation (Sigma) Help
I understand about summation notation except for one type of problem.
This may be hard to summarize, but here goes.

above the Sigma is the number 8, below it is i=2, and to the right of it is the number 4. From the information that I can gather the correct answer would be 32 (8X4). Is this right, or would it be starting at 2 and ending at 8, so then there would be 7 terms, making the answer 28 (7X4). Thanks for the help, this is driving me crazy.
