Help with slope of sin graph?
On the graph of f(x)=6sin(4pi*x), points P and X are at consecutive lowest and highest points, with P occurring before Q. Find the slope of the line which passes through P and Q.
I graphed it, and I had (1.4, -5.706) and (1.6, 5.706) for my points, but that's clearly not correct.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please figure out how to use exact values. Your calculator will not always be with you. Eventually, you will have to wean yourself off it.

Since the period is $\frac{2*\pi}{4*\pi}\;=\;1/2$, we shouldn't have to look very far. Indeed x = 3/8 and x = 5/8 seem most convenient.
