    coordinate geometry problem (midpoint)

    so i have the coordinates (2,3) (-9,-7)

    when i had completed the midpoint equation

    it came up with (-4, -2) but it doesnt work on the number plane

    whats going on?

    are the measurements on my graph a bit off?
