
Equivalence class
Im trying to figure out equivalence relations. i get that for something to have an equivalence relation it must be reflexive, symmetric and transivitive. What im stuck with is working out the equivalence class.
The question i am faced with is "Describe the equivalence class for (1,0)."
Can anyone help?!

What is the equivalence relation? Then perhaps.

At the very least you know
$\displaystyle [(1,0)]\supset \{(1,0),(0,1),(1,1), (0,0) \}$
By reflexive, symmetry, and transitivity of the first two twice.

Ehhhhh do you go to glasgow uni by any chance? 2F?
