    Collatz Conjecture

I need a professional opinion on this paper at http://uts.awardspace.info.
I'm only a part-time amateur and may not see the flaws in it.
    Thanks

Are you asking if there are any mistakes in the proof?
I did not read it because I am just assuming the thing is flawed.

If you find a paper on the internet claiming to be a proof they are always false.

I do not have the time to examine this in sufficient detail at present, but the abstract needs to say more, in particular to say what the paper proves. Also I am always suspicious of papers with no references.

The lack of references is what particularly worries me. Since the approach of examining reverse sequences is not new, why have previous attempts at this route failed while this suceeds? What is the new idea here?
