    First, please show us what work you've been able to do.

    Second, if this is a "predict the next number in the sequence" there is really no way to do it. We'll need some background to help, such as where did this problem come from, or even what topics were covered in the section of the text you are referring to?

    Second: This problem does not depend on predictation, but depends on a particular method can be deduced from the existing numbers.
