For these problems, do you have to use discrete logarithms?

Actually I don't know, haven't heard of them.
Is that the only way to solve ?
This task was given as extra study, so maybe there should be those discrete logarithms...

I think it is worth noting that 25 and 49 are squares, while 27 and 125 are cubes.
