    Number Theory

    1.How is the set of even numbers less than 100 is without a smallest element?
    2.Please recommend a book to study number theory? Elementary number theory by Kenneth Rosen is not very easy to follow.

    For any element in the set, there is a smaller element found by subtracting 2 from it.

    You may like "An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers" by G.H Hardy and E.M Wright.
