Hi , how can we find the following sum for a series: $\displaystyle \sum_{n=1}^{\infty} n^{p}/q^{n}$ for given p and q ? .E.g if p = 0 and q = 3 the series becomes 1/3 + 1/9 + 1/27 + ... = 1/2 . So required value is 1/2
