Problem on generalized hypergeometric function
I would like to know whether it is possible to simplify or transform a generalized hypergeometric series [e.g., a function like pFq(a,b,c,d,e; f,g,h,i;z)] by expressing it in terms of other simpler functions (e.g., Eulero's gamma function, beta function, or others). This is quite simple for the "Gaussian" 2F1, but I have found no similar methods for higher order generalized hypergeometric functions.
In particular, I would like to know the way to transform/simplify a 5F4 series with unit argument (e.g., z=1), but I am also interested in a general method that can be used for any z.
Many thanks you for your help
