Hey guys, i missed this lesson due to other obligations could someone just explain the steps to this:

Find the quotient and remainder when (BEADED) $_1$ $_6$ is divided by (ABBA) $_1$ $_6$. I know that A=10 B=11 etc but would my numbers simply covert to (10111110) and (11510141514)? Thanks

Do you need to give your answer in decimal or hexadecimal?

Probably easiest to convert to decimal, and if necessary convert back at the end.

BEADED means $13 \cdot 16^0 + 14 \cdot 16^1 + 13 \cdot 16^2 + 10 \cdot 16^3 + 14 \cdot 16^4 + 11 \cdot 16^5$

Similarly to how in decimal $1234 = 4\cdot10^0 + 3\cdot10^1 + 2\cdot10^2 + 1\cdot10^3$

Can you take it from here?
