Find the smallest whole number that when divided by 5,7,9, and 11, respectively, the remainders are 1,2,3, and 4.

Can someone please point me in the right direction here, i dont know where to start

Start by setting up your Chinese remainder system. Have you learned the algorithm which allows you to solve such a system?
