    Multiplication mod 2

    Hi,
    Maybe it is obvious but I must be sure. Is it true that:
    x_1x_1+x_1x_2+x_1=x_1x_2
    or simply that:
    x_1x_1+x_1=0?
    We are working in F_2.

    Well, just check when x_1=1\,\,\,and\,\,\,when\,\,\,x_1=0 , the only two elements we have in \mathbb{F}_2. Yes, the identity is trivially true then.
