    Base 2

    Write the integers 1 through 20 in their base 2 representations.

    The example we gave in class was that the integer 7348 (in base 10)
    can be written as the sum

    7348 = 4096 + 2048 + 1024 + 128 + 32 + 16 + 4

    = 2^12 + 2^11 + 2^10 + 2^7 + 2^5 + 2^4 + 2^2

    and hence in base 2, we would say that

    7348 = (1110010110100)_2

    HELP PLEASE

    Thanks,

    Steve

    To convert from a base 10 to a binary, start dividing by 2.

    To convert 20 to base 2:

    20 divided by 2 is 10 with 0 remainder.

    10 divided by 2 is 5 with 0 remainder

    5 divided by 2 is 2 with 1 remainder

    2 divided by 2 is 1 with 0 remainder

    Now, read off the result at the bottom and the remainders from bottom up.

    10100

    Now, you try 19 and so on
