I am trying to solve the below problem:

If 72.42 = K(24+ n/100), where k and n are positive integers, and n < 100, then find k + n

Please help me understand to solve this problem

If you arrange the equation as K=72.42/(24+n/100)
So we ask 72.42 divided by what is an integer, K?
72/24=3, and now we only need to fix the decimal part
that is the .42/(n/100) also should be 3
then n = 14
