    Hello everyone

    Hi,

My name's Alex, and I'm 23. I'm a mature student, and I've got some exams coming up that I'm currently revising for. I'm hoping to get a place on a degree course to study maths but need to pass the exams first!

I've been stuck on a particular question for about 15 minutes now. Usually I'd wrack my brains trying to figure out the correct method, only to notice hours later that I'd overlooked something, or missed a power, or something like that. So instead this time I thought I'd look online to try and find a place that might be able to help, which lead me to these forums.

I'll probably be posting quite a few questions that I'm stuck on over the next fortnight, I'm grateful for any help. Maybe one day I'll be able to return the favour haha.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to maybe getting to know you guys.

    Alex

You often learn best from your own mistakes. If you spend hours on a problem and then find a simple mistake, you'll probably never make it gain!! Happens to all of us!
