Normal Distribution
Does anyone have any idea on how to solve these?
The extract of a plant native to Taiwan has been tested as a possible treatment for Leukemia. One of the chemical compounds produced from the plant was analyzed for a particular collagen. The collagen amount was found to be normally distributed with a mean of http://webwork.linnbenton.edu/webwor...67e29c2661.png and standard deviation of http://webwork.linnbenton.edu/webwor...0c5beb8f91.png grams per milliliter.

Re: Normal Distribution
you have no idea? Have you gone over any of this in class? Have you tried anything?

How to calculate z scores used in statistics class YouTube
Make sure you understand the question in the clip before you try to use it on your question.
To find the area under the curve you will need to use your zscore tables.
I don't think this post is going to be how i want it
I wanted to put in 2 clips but i am obviously not doing it correctly.

there are a stack of clips made about Z scores.
You do have to know how to use z score tables but the tables can be presented a bit differently so you may need to work it out yourself unless you upload a copy of the table that you are using in class.
