    HI Rookie here

hey guys I'm new to this forum. Love the math environment.
I intend to take Mathematics as my major in college but can anyone tell what that's going to be like. And should I take Applied mathematics or Statistics. I'm not completely informed about the differences. Also what subject would go better with math? Computer Science or Physics?? What do you think?

Everyone should do some statistics (though there are ways of teaching it that are worse than useless).

How well it pairs with maths depends on which parts of computer science you study (and the definition of computer science your institution subscribes to, if they follow Knuth computer science=algorithmics=concrete/discrete maths). Physics is always a good companion to maths.
