What do you mean by that? That if f= g, then df/dx= dg/dx? That could follow from the uniqueness of limits: if f(x)= g(x) for all x (except possibly x= a) then $\displaystyle \lim_{x\to a} f(x)= \lim_{x\to a} g(x)$.
