    Introducing myself - help with a towed object problem

    I'm Alan, the author of "GPS Utility". This means that I often get problems submitted by users which require a mathematical solution. I am just about to post such a problem, which I have not been able to solve satisfactorily, in the Calculus section. Many thanks to anyone who can help.
