    x^-.093 = y, solve for x

    I have been searching everywhere online and I can't figure out how to get that stupid exponent to the other side of the equation. This seems like it should be very easy, but I can't find a solution.

    Well, 1 + 0.093 = 1.093. So
    x^{-0.093} = y


    \left (x^{-0.093} \right ) ^{1.093} = y^{1.093}

    So
    x^1 = \left ( y \right ) ^{1.093}
