Thread: Hello everyone!

Hello, my name is Angello Maggio!
I'm a double major in Computer Science and Physics at Lehman College in NY.
I'm here to help people and probably ask for help as well.
It seems like a great forum but I don't see much moderation regarding the spam threads and misplacement of questions, are there any mods around here anymore?

There is a little history to this site.
Once upon a time it was neglected by its owner mathguru, who allowed viruses and spam in.
After going down completely, the people moderating this site started a new one.
That is when mash, the current owner, bought this site about a year ago.
However, he has since left this site to its own for more than half a year now.
And as you can see, spam is back, and viruses will probably follow soon after.

If you're looking for a math community, I recommend math help boards dot com (without the spaces).
It is run by the people who used to staff this site, but who were not allowed to moderate this site anymore by mash.

I'll be checking the other boards. So sad that these forums aren't being taken care of tho :/
