Thread: I'm struggling to do my engineering maths

Hi people,
I'm a newbie to this forum however i really need help on my assignments. I currently study Btec electrical engineering and i struggle to accomplish maths and i'd be extremely appreciated for people to help me on some of my work and explain how to do question e.g. simultaneous linear equations, quadratic equations by factorization and by formula method and lots more. Here is my current work in which i need assistance (Please refer to images attached), i'd be extremely appreciated if someone would tell me how to do these questions. Thank you !!

EDIT: Task 3 last question is cut out of the picture, it is: 7p - 11 + 2q = 0
-1 = 3q - 5p
