Thread: I need help on the wetted perimeter of a pipe and these other questions!!

Hi there, i really hope someone can help me with these questions!? my teacher is really vague and i think he gets a bit of a kick from being so, because you ask for help he laughs and says "i cant help anymore ive pretty much told you how to do it already!"

angle ø = 2π/3 × 180/π = 120°
wetted perimeter = °ø/360 × 2πr
= 120/360 × 2π × 12 = 8π
area of cross section = ø/360 ×πr²
= 120/360 × π × 12 × 12 = 48π
volume of water = ø/360 × πr² L
= 120/360 × π × 12 × 12 × (0.7 × 100) length converted in cm
= 3.36π cm³
angle of dry perimeter = (360 – 120) = 240°
