Thread: Looking to supplement my learning, New and frustrated!

Hello All,

I am a second year B-Comm student focusing on an Accounting Major. I have done well in my classes up until this point, working on a pre-calculus class with a final coming up in a matter of weeks. I scored poorly on my Midterm, assignments have been going alright, and I have been getting tutoring from a Mathematician, who even find my text and study guide hard to follow and poorly designed. So looking for anything that can help, hopefully I will find it here.

often, textbooks for classes are part of "package deals" negotiated with publishers and/or distributors by the school. the instructor may not have chosen the text personally. of course, opinions of the quality of a text will often vary widely, what "clicks" with one person may sail right over the head of another.
