Word problems with fractions
I have a word problem that is very confusing for me. (Wondering) I have attempted to figure out the answer to this problem but can't comprehend how they got the answer. I would be greatful to anyone who can break it down, step by step, as to how you got the answer. I will begin by saying the answer is 19/30. Here is the problem:

Danielle spent 1/6 of her money on clothes and 1/5 on food. What fraction of her money did she have left for rent and other expenses?

I came up with 11/30. What did i do wrong? Thank you for any help with this.
