    Pre Algebra Cramer's rule problem

I have done several other equations of this type with no problem. I understand this method but I just cannot seem to come up with the correct answer. According to my homework assignment there IS a correct answer. I even tried using a different method and came up woth the same incorrect answer as when using this method. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Use Cramer's rule to solve the sytem of equations.

    x+2y+2z=12
    2x+y+2z=11
    2x+2y+z=2

Honestly I have no idea how to type in math formats or whatever they are called. I've never been on one of these things before

There are ways around that. You could write out what you have done, scan it and post it as an image. You could attempt to type what you have done, but the formatting might be difficult. You could download MathType, or look for a similar freeware online program. Or you could learn some LaTeX, of which the forum has an inbuilt compiler, to learn how to code and compile the mathematics properly. We have a LaTeX help subforum on this site.
