When you say "mixed numeral" do you mean a part whole number a part fraction?

Whole number. To input two fifths is not an issue. Five and two fifths is an issue. There must be a way. There is not a correct template and it will not allow you to input 5 then fraction template and two over five.

    I have a regular NSpire, I doubt it's possible. Just input 5 + (2/5) or 27/5.

    Write it as a sum, like \displaystyle \begin{align*} 5 + \frac{2}{5} \end{align*}.
