My return to the wonderful world of maths.
Hello Community, I am 47 and have worked as a salesman for the past 22 years. However I have been an IT enthusiast for about 4 years working with Linux. Dabbling with programming has brought me back in touch with mathematics, as the course I am following frequently uses algebra. This has kindled a new interest in mathematics which I effectively stopped studying after A levels (pre-university level in the UK). So I recently got myself a copy of Algebra and Trigonometry by Beecher, Penna and Bittinger and started working my way through it. Loving it. I'm nevertheless going to need the help of a forum, as there are cases where I don't really understand the answers to the exercises. I look forward to interacting with a community that shares my passion for a fascinating and very important subject. Cheers.
