Hello

I need to fit experimental data to mathematical models. The data fitted to these models had correlation (R) and regresion (R^{2}) coefficients. What coefficient (R or R^{2}) can i used to know which it is the best model?

Thanks!!

Either. Given $\displaystyle R$, you can find $\displaystyle R^2$, and vice versa (given that you know whether the slope is positive or negative).
