As an environmentally friendly manufacturing company, the manager decides to minimize the usage of the packaging material for the drinks.
Given that the shape of the packaged drinks is a cuboid with volume of 250 ml.
a)
i. Find 10 possible dimensions of the cuboid, include the amount of packaging material used. Complete Table 2.

ii. Hence, state the dimensions of the cuboid such that the least amount of packaging material is used.
a) For aesthetic reason, the manager wants the base of the cuboid to be in golden ratio.
ii. By using the ratio 1.6 : 1, find the possible dimensions of the cuboid, include the amount of packaging material used. Tabulate your answers.
iii. the amount of packaging material used. Tabulate your answers.
iv. Hence, state the dimensions of the cuboid such that the least amount of packaging material is used. Check your answer by using Calculus.
