kstahmer: that’s me.

Have a graduate level background in algebra, analysis, topology, applied math and mathematical logic ... though it’s been awhile. Been doing mostly $\displaystyle \mathbf{C^{++}}$ and Java programming for the past 25 years.

Have no LaTeX experience. Thought I’d get started with Getting to Grips with LaTeX concentrating on the Mathematics Part 1 and Part 2 sections. With trial and error hope to discover what works and what doesn’t work.

Please bear with me till then: $\displaystyle \mathbf{\int_{-\infty}^{\infty} e^{-x^2}\, \mathrm{d}x = \sqrt{\pi}}$.

Thanks.
