Question Need answer to variable answer for x

I am not a math person but need an answer to an important question.

    X * .5 = 238.11

    X * 1 = 300

    X * 2 = 377.98

    X * 3 = 432.67

    X * 4 = 476.22

    X * 5 = 512.99

What is the equation for X?

There are six equations here, and it isn't clear what you are asking. Could you state the problem as it was given to you?

Perhaps it's too difficult to compute, the answer are the results from a program, I was tring to reverse it to find out an equation for how it arrived at the answers given. Thanks.

If you have excel, you could type make a chart with the x values {0.5,1,2...} and y values {238.11,300....} Then paste on a trendline, and see what gets you an R^2 value of 1 (But that'll only work if X is a polynomial, logarithm, exponent or power-of-X function)
