Re: A simple introduction

Hi Reed, welcome to Math Help Forum!

I would be curious to hear more about your academic video logs, sounds very interesting indeed!

Re: A simple introduction

I'll keep everyone posted. For now, here is my channel name. VideosFromMyMind - YouTube

I just got a camera and Whiteboard today, so I should begin recording soon.

Re: A simple introduction

Hello, I need to practice up on my algebra to earn my GED anyone have any suggestions for me as well?

I think you should make a detailed video explaining a problem like in algebra it's not as simple as it looks, you can't just add all the numbers together, list common problems people have with it too, I don't like people explaining that you just add two plus two to make it four i want them to go really detailed into the topic describing why adding two to two actually makes it four.

Re: A simple introduction

I can do that. With the GED covering such a large area, is there anything more specific you'd like to see?

I can definitely go into detail. I love to start from the building blocks of math, like counting, and work up to the more complex areas.

Re: A simple introduction

Hi I am teaching a MATH CLEP prep course and I am having trouble on ways to describe how to solve some of the problems on the practice test....I am requesting help...Thanks!

Re: A simple introduction

What level CLEP course are you teaching? I'm sure I could come up with something to help you. Would you be able to give me some examples of the problems?

Re: A simple introduction

the video blog site is a very good idea that should be taken into account seriously.
