How do you type in equations so that they look like how you would write it on paper?

I hope you get what i mean, i don't know how to phrase this question.

How do some people, when they post, type out their numbers, fractions and equations like how you would actually write it on paper?

Perhaps there's already a thread or guide for this??can't find it here >.<
