Thread: Request: Book list on Number Theory

I am new to this forum.

I am looking for 2-3 books on number theory, that is good reading and helps to build an understanding of the subject. Intermediate to advanced in standard. Can anyone here suggest me some?

Also I understand that this topic might already have been discussed here. So if anybody kindly provide me the link to an early discussion that would be nice.

The book I have is here, I like it very much.
(It is expected you are familar with abstract algebra).

The classic work is Hardy & Wright: "An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers", currently(?) available from Oxford University Press, which is considered a little old-fashioned nowadays but it's definitely worth while.
