Can I call myself a mathematician?

I have no argument why I'm interested in maths. There's a fascination that I cannot explain. People ask me why I stack shelves? I say it's because I'm a mathematician.

    Am I?

Wittgenstein tells us that: "If a thing can be said, it can be said clearly".

    Maybe you could try it.

What do you stack on shelve? What does that have to do with being a mathematician? Do you earn your living doing or teaching mathematics?
