Hello I need to linearize y=10/(a+cx) Thank you

in general a function $f(x)$ can be linearized about a point $x_0$ as $f(x) \approx f(x_0) + f^\prime(x_0)(x-x_0)$ $f(x) = 10 \dfrac{1}{a+c x}$ think you can figure it out from here?
NO i cant can you solve it for me ?
Have you not taken a Calculus course? If you haven't where did you get this problem?
in statistic classes i just need to linearize this to work with it in excel
and romsek thank you but i think that i need other way to solve it . i need to use linear regresion not derivate
how about if you explain the entire problem to us
Do you know what "linear regression" means?
