    inequality Notation

    Hi all,

    I was wondering, is it considered in bad taste to have both an equality and an inequality in the same expression? Should I split them up? For example:

    \frac{x}{y}=c\times\frac{a}{b}<\frac{a}{b}

    Thanks

    Re: inequality Notation

    I think that it's just a bit informal and is usually fine.
