Ignoring the insult (please don't tell me this is a dangling participle), perhaps this helps:

I agree:
There is an integer greater than pi.
There is an integer greater than 37.5.
There is an integer greater than the number of atoms in the universe.

I do not agree:
There is an integer greater than any number.

For the record, I claim my original post, and any other post amounting to the same thing, is wrong.
