Thread: Beginning to Love math

Hi guys, I know you don't know me at all I only signed up very early September before I started my first year of college. I have to say tho, I have to take basic college mathematics because I scored so lowly on the placer tests (mainly because of my issues in high school..not with understanding but rather with being the biggest butt hole who didn't pay attention at all to anything ever) so my math professor is freaking amazing, and is lighting up this passion for mathematics I have never really known. I even opted to take a extra math class as an elective next semester because I'm enjoying it so much this ever happen to anyone? I dunno....there is something about it, and I'm starting to consider careers in this field, and plan to take as many mathematics courses as possible at my college.

Well, firstly i want to know do you actually love this subject? It is very important for you to understand and make your basic strong in this field only then think of pursuing it as a career. You can take online tutoring help to learn the basic math course. I believe there are many sites which can be useful for you. Personally, i have come across a site Online Math Tutor which can be of some help to you.

Well when it came down to pursuing a career I was just in fantasy mode right there. I'm already in college and taking all the foundational courses needed to understand math and I have been enjoying it immensely.

Indeed its a great subject

This Spring semester I'm taking Algebra and Small Business Management going to learn me some Algebra and Finances, and a little accounting etc. Looking forward to it imensley.
