    Linear, Abstract, And Universal Algebra

    My mother told me to make my birthday list. So what are good introductory books to linear abstract and universal algebra. What must I know before I tackle these subjects? I hope plato responds, he gave me good book last time

    For Linear Algebra, I'd say you can't go wrong with a Schaum's Outline on "Beginning Linear Algebra". Plenty of worked problems and questions to solve. It will cost you about 6 from Amazon.
