The Golden Ratio is found in many of life's arenas including Math, Physics, Nature, Music, and Art and is otherwise called
'Phi' after the greek letter phi. It is a ratio whos inverse is located approximately 2/3 of the way through whatever piece of
music one is listening to. In art the ratio usually refers to the proportions of length:heigth of a painting. The exact ratio
is defined as (1 +or- sqroot 5)/2 or approximately 1.618033989. The inverse is also approximately .618033989 which is
near the 2/3 mark mentioned earlier.
The Golden Mean Grid I am hearing about here for the first time and have less of an idea about but will nonetheless take a shot
at giving my notion of what it means. The few google sites I see seem to be talking about a grid made up of golden ratioed
rectangles arranged in simplified 3 by 3 grids approximating length and width divisions into thirds.
Hope this helps!
