I added it to 'my favorites'...
I've seen this on the news few hours ago. It might cure dyscalculia someday but does it have the prospect
of making one an algebraic number theorist? If it does, then I will have to be supplied with large doses of it!
On a serious note, though, this has a rather nice application: get good at maths or get electric shocks. Heh!
I've had a 500V discharge through my right arm and out through my left eye.
After 10 years, the eye had finally healed. Pity I didn't evaluate the effect of it!
No, it was an accident. I was fixing a power supply at twice mains voltage and my hand slipped.
Luckily I had a few earlier instances of mains shock and my reflexes are very good.
The arm muscles wouldn't work but I was able to jump pretty quickly!
I would make some comment about removing fuses or using the circuit breakers when working on such, but last week when fixing my lighting circuit at least a couple of times I realised that I was working with a live circuit (its all that switching the power on and off between trying things that leaves one oblivious to the current state)
