Thread: Possible proof that P != NP

Mark Chu-Carroll on his blog Good Math, Bad Math. reports what may be significant progress on P=NP? (unfortunately I cannot open the link to the paper from work so I will link to MarkCC's blog posting)

Very exciting, to be sure! We'll wait and see if the proof is correct.

Well, Scott Aaronson is skeptical, even though he admits the paper has new ideas.

Looks like there is a pretty big hole in the proof.
