    Question strontium.

In general, does a strontium atom have a higher mass no or no of electrons than a strotium ion?

If this question is just completely off, then what are the differences?

Strontium is part of the Alkaline Earth Metals or Group 2 of the periodic table and therefore has 2 valence electrons. It's valency is +2 ....
