Math Help - 1-1000 how many 3's?

    1-1000 how many 3's?

    My friend ask em this in class today and i didnt know how to answer him and thought about it for awhile and came up with 190 which was wrong. i figured eh 19 in every 100, 19x10 eh can soemoen help em out with this one, show work :\

    Perhaps you forgot to include the 300's (300 through 399) since all 100 integers will include the number 3...
