    Basic indices simplification

    Hi folks,

    I'm just trying to check my answer I got for a simplification question.

    6x^3y^-2 * \frac{1}{24}x^-5y^4

    Sorry I'm new to the math thing so it isn't written very well.

    I simplified this to

    \frac{x^-2y^2}{4}

    Is this correct?
